Earn more and work less
How changing your Business Model can make your business more sustainable
““During the multiple Lockdown here in Italy, I gradually brought all my training and yoga activity online, developing a new way of working in order to support my clients wherever they are.
The problem was that I found myself working from 6 am to 10 pm with a tight schedule that made it impossible for me to have a moment to breathe or even just take a break between one lesson and the next one. I felt snowed under and the requests kept on growing.”
Greta came to me with a very common goal between the majority of the professional women I support in my 1:1 Marketing Mentoring. Earning more and work less. A seemingly impossible challenge for many. Or even a legend, unthinkable in real life.
Greta found herself with a fast-growing business and a tangible problem: she was working too much. She didn’t have the time to even manage her clients requests as she was literally booked up every single hour.
I strongly believe that working hard can be key to achieve great results, but having the time to stop and think on how to make your activity sustainable in the long run is equally important. Otherwise, what are you going to do next?
“I met Giulia last year thanks to Rethinking Instagram - her online course. I started following her on a daily basis and I found her approach knowledgeable, practical and authentic. Considering the chaos I was going through in that moment, I decided to as her help.
I needed to set my priorities and, more than anything, build a solid foundation for a fast-growing business that needed to become more sustainable.”
A business that only responds to the market demand and doesn’t stop to lay the groundwork for the long run is in danger of collapsing at the first change of context.
The challenge for me here was to help Greta to make room in her schedule without impacting her income and even setting up her activity in a solid way so that it could grow in the long term. The physical presence of the professional is essential and it should stay that way, especially in the wellness industry. I needed to work on her Business Model instead and that’s exactly where I started.
By analyzing Greta’s Business structure thoroughly I found the so-called “bottlenecks” of her activity, the obstacles that were slowing her down, and I removed them. I changed her offer, her service portfolio, so that she could keep on welcoming the fast-growing requests while having more time for herself and for new projects she wanted to start within her business.
“In the three months afteer Giulia’s mentoring my revenue increased by 34% and I significantly reduced my working hours, meeting my clients’ needs with a new offer and finding myself with more time to dedicate to the development of my business.”
“And it doesn’t end there! Thanks to Giulia’s support I gave my activity a brand new look:
I started a new company where I work on wellness with a 360-degree view. I work in Tam with other professionals in the wellness field and I keep growing my Yoga teaching and PT activity.
I launched my first wellness retreat and I have 4 more of them scheduled around Italy and soon in Fuerteventura.
Lastly... I just launched my first online training in order to follow my clients during their holidays.”
“Giulia changed the way I see myself and my whole business. She helped me to focus on myself again, to recognize my value and to understand my clients’ needs even more. Now I have a much more conscious approach to my activity. I know where I want to go with it and how to get there. Giulia’s presence has been like a lighthouse showing me the way even in the darkest moments.”
Greta’s results speak for themselves! The fact that she achieved them in just three months is something incredible. Not only has she worked with great determination towards these goals, she’s also been very brave.
Going through a critical check of everything you’ve built in the past 15 years is not easy at all. Greta allowed me to work on multiple aspects of her business in order to provide her the best solutions for her new business model. We didn’t only revisit her personal branding, we dug deep into her activity, analysing it in depth to the point where we realized that her business model wasn’t supporting her needs anymore. The balance between private life and work is very precious yet incredibly hard to find for a solopreneur. I’m extremely happy I got to help her towards a new and gratifying awareness.
